Looks like a north/south fitment will clear everything fairly easily!

With the motor completely free, I began to look at fitment options

I got the bike home and immediately started to tear it down, taking extra care to label all the wires.

I had the opportunity to pick up this zzr600 that had been in an accident for $400. It was in running condition minus a destroyed radiator and a slightly bent exhaust manifold. I jumped on the deal, figuring this would make a solid power plant.

Andrew picked up these 100 % plastic, ultra lightweight, surprisingly comfortable seats, for a bargain on craigslist.  They seem to fit quite nicely in this incredibly narrow car.

All rust on the uni-body has now been removed, and the entire vehicle primed

Starting to strip the paint off to make sure all the metal is solid, and prepare to prime the body

With a little modification, the rear end from a MG Midget fits quite well in the back of our Honda

Removing rust from the uni-body is an arduous task

After getting the fiberglass mold we needed off the original body, it was decided that the shell was just in too poor shape to salvage, so we picked up this beauty.

One of the first things we did after seeing what metal was actually good on the body was make a 1 piece fiberglass mold of the hood and fenders

My friends and I had been wanting to get ahold of an N600 since we were in our early teens. The small size meant any power upgrades would be extremely effective, and we wanted something that we wouldnt have to dump a TON of money into. I belive it was our junior or senoir year when I took a vacation to North Carolina. On the trip there I was pulled over for having a tailight out. I found a backyard mechanic and pulled in to see if he had one. While he was rumaging through some boxes, I was walking around his backyard, where there were 20+ old cars sitting in tall grass. Thats when I saw it. A beat to hell N600. After the guy found a bulb for me I asked him how much he would want for it. He said $100 cash takes it. So I called my buddies, who promptly drove 7 hours through the night to pick it up.
